What are some reasonably priced organic or %100 natural shampoos and body washes and where can I find the?

Whole Foods is a great place for lots of variety - I go there every few months or so to stock up on items. There are lots of great stores online that have products too - drugstore.com even has lots of natural brands.

Personally, I'm addicted to Aubrey Organic Green Tea Shampoo. For more information, check out this article: http://www.natural-beauty-info.com/aubre鈥?/a> Anything Aubrey usually works well for me. As for soaps, Dr. Bronner's is great - so is One With Nature. There are so many great brands - have fun trying them all! What are some reasonably priced organic or %100 natural shampoos and body washes and where can I find the?
Hi! I know these have already been stated, but Burt's Bees, Lush (kinda expensive), Whole Foods, Alba Skincare, and Jason Skincare. Check out Lure Beauty. They have shampoos and body products that are all natural. They even offer samples so you could try it out and see if you like it before you buy the full sized products. They are reasonably priced, but you can only purchase it online. Hope this helps!! ^-^What are some reasonably priced organic or %100 natural shampoos and body washes and where can I find the?
Burt's bees organic shampoo, it's wonderful, and it smells really good.

look at whole foods, they have every natural beauty product you can think of! also look at the body shop, its a little more expensive depending on what you buy, but definitely worth money.

Does anyone know a reasonably priced SLS (sodium laureth/lauryl sulphate) free shampoo available in Canada?

I'm moving to Canada soon, and up until now have been using a UK brand called Naked available in Boots, a high street pharmacy here. Does anyone know a good SLS free shampoo that's inexpensive and easy to find at most pharmacies in Canada? I have a terrible dry itchy scalp and my hair falls out like crazy when I use shampoos with SLS, so I can not go back to these! Please help.

Many thanks.

ArtiDoes anyone know a reasonably priced SLS (sodium laureth/lauryl sulphate) free shampoo available in Canada?
J/A/S/O/N shampoos and conditioners are SLS free. They are very gentle, organic, and are reasonably priced.

You'll find it in most health food stores for around 8-10 dollars, but I just noticed that they started selling it at the grocery stores too (and I think I paid $6.99).

If you have an itchy scalp, try the biotin Shampoo and Conditioner (tingles a bit, and smells nice). Also they have an Aloe Vera formulation that might help your scalp.

Is this safe? what should I use for a moisturizing shampoo & conditioner without paying salon prices?

I want to get my hair highlighted before school starts and I found a beauty school that has an open salon where they do do highlighting. so one of my questions about this is is it safe to get permanent highlights at a beauty school where the people doing your hair are the students? and then my other question is is it safe to highlight your hair and then straighten it every other day durring the school week?

my other question is what would be a good moisturizing shampoo %26amp; conditioner to use because I know that unless I find something good my hair won't look all that pretty and then all my hard work would be wasted. but I need something that you can pick up at any store because I can't afford to pay salon prices

please and thank you :)Is this safe? what should I use for a moisturizing shampoo %26amp; conditioner without paying salon prices?
Yes, beauty schools are safe. They don't just let students loose without knowing what they are doing. Heat is really bad for your hair and should be avoided at all costs, and combining bleach and heat are not smart, but it's your head. Shampoo molecules go into the hair shaft, attach themselves to dirt and oil, and wash out. So shampoo cleans hair, that is all that it can do, so shampoo cannot moisturize. No drugstore conditioner is going to give you moisture either, sorry. Drugstore shampoos and conditioners are cheap for a reason. They are full of harsh chemicals that strip color and natural oils from your hair and cause damage. They are also full of wax the coats the outside of the hair shaft. But out of these Pantene is the absolute worst and Suave is next. If you must use a drugstore brand use Aussie. They use natural ingredients instead of all the chemicals and wax. So if you can get an Aussie shampoo and a salon quality conditioner.

  • Best shampoo for dry hair????Willing to pay salon prices.?

Does anyone no of any good brands of shampoo in conditioners. I have dry, fine slightly damaged(dyed) hair?

I want the best shampoo that will make my hair as soft and shinny as possible!

I AM willing to pay for salon prices, and please NO cheap drugstore brands.

    Why:

1.) I have very sensitive skin, I need something that doesn't have artitifical dyes and fragrances. Salon brands usually don't have any unnessary ingredients, the ingredients serves it purpose..and nothing else. They don't need any cool colors and fragrances to make them more appeling.

2.) Salon brands-or at least some-have higher quality of ingredients and MOST don't contain any harsh chemicals, preservitives, and waxes-which are bad for your hair, they strip the natural oils from your hair. Cheap brands usually put these in(particularly waxes)so it will have the same fill as a high quality product.

3.) You pay what you get for. Don't ever think that you can get the same result from something cheap!!Best shampoo for dry hair????Willing to pay salon prices.?

    Price for shampoo?

I recently purchased shampoo that was $20 (for 16 oz. bottle) at a salon because my friends insisted it was better for my hair. After comparing it to my Alberto VO5 ($0.96) for the same amount purchased at Wal-Mart I see absolutely no difference in my hair only my pocketbook.

    Opinions please?Price for shampoo?
I think salon shampoos often just waste your money. There are very few shampoos out there that are amazing for your hair. They all pretty much work the same. If I were you, I would choose a shampoo that is kind of middle of the road as far as prices go. I use Herbal Essences. It keeps my hair clean and smelling good, and it's not that expensive. You don't have to clean out your wallet to get a good shampoo. Just try various shampoos and stick with one that works for you!Price for shampoo?
Salon shampoos make no difference to your hair, all they do is waste your money. I too have experianced this with my regular shampoos, in a few cases i even found that my reg.shampoos worked BETTER ; hard to believe

Please dont waste you money on salon products

Some other good inexpensive brands are:

    Loreal Vive Pro

    Herbal Essences

    Garnier Fructis

Even what your using right now is fine !

    Hope it helped

How do you price Carpets shampooing, stripping, buffing, waxing, floor鈥?I know by sq foot but How much money?

Are you doing it yourself, or having professionals do it? I assume you are having professionals. They usually will give you an estimate for free. I would give you a ball-park number, but its to hard to say without seeing the size and condition of the floors and carpets. If you are doing it yourself, just go to a local hardware store with your calculator.

What are some good sulfate free shampoos and conditioners for drugstore prices?

Sodium Laureth Sulfate or Sodium Laryl Sulfate are ingrediants that you find in a lot of shampoos. Well, I recently did research on these ingrediants and found that it is a carcinogen (can cause cancer). The FDA has encouraged companies that manufacture shampoo to cut sulfates out of there products. So if anyone knows of any good sulfate free shamps. and conds. for drugstore prices, let me know about them!!!What are some good sulfate free shampoos and conditioners for drugstore prices?
My mom told me about this today too, and it freaked me out! The best place to buy shampoos free of this are at Whole Foods. They sell all kinds of natural shampoos, that are famous and work well. You also may be able to find some natural shampoos in walgreens or some grocery stores that carry a wide selection. More and more stores are looking into the ';natural'; way of living and stock more stuff like natural shampoos, deodorants, nail polishes..etc.

  • Can anyone IN JAPAN recommend a reasonably priced two-in-one shampoo + conditioner suitable for kids?

I'm on the outskirts of Tokyo prefecture, and my daughter's supply of L'Oréal kids shampoo from the UK has almost run out!

The only decent looking two-in-one I've found so far is a Ban-dai kids effort - 357円 for 150 ml. We did find another one once, we bought it from a local 100円 store ... but it was SO drying we had to use conditioner afterwards anyway! Can't use something like that on my daughter, she has fairly fine hair, and it will frizz up like a bush if she uses grotty shampoo..!

So I would be very grateful for any (sensible, and Japan based) recommendations for a decent yet not-expensive product! Also, which shops you've found it in - and all the kanji etc. from the front please, so I know exactly what I'm looking for..!!Can anyone IN JAPAN recommend a reasonably priced two-in-one shampoo + conditioner suitable for kids?
Have you tried Soft in One? It costs 1,000 yen for a big bottle. You would want to try the pink colored one since it is the しっとり(moisturizing) type. But to give you more selection, the second link is all the 2-in-1 shampoos you can buy online. They also have Johnson's kid 2-in-1 shampoo. In Japanese they call 2-in-1 shampoo リンスインシャンプー (rinse in shampoo) so you can ask your neighborhood for リンスインシャンプー.Can anyone IN JAPAN recommend a reasonably priced two-in-one shampoo + conditioner suitable for kids?

To be honest, I haven't seen any 2 in 1 since I've been in Japan. They all have seperate bottles.
If you(she) are suffering from the itchy scalp, try Merit.

Either separate or two-in-one are availavle.

I like this cos it's hypoallergenic. However, I'm little worry about your word ';drying'; for your daughter.

    Please try this yourself first.
When you try to wash and condition in one step, all you are doing is keeping the dirt on her hair and making it slimy at the same time.

    Try Suntori Sake!

Are any of the claims of high priced shampoos and conditioner companies make true?

hair products will maintain healthy growth. buy at a good reputable salon. they will have the best products for you to use. the reason why other shampoo and conditioners are less expensive is because they are made from more synthetic ingredients that are not so good for the hair. the ';High priced'; stuff is made with better ingredients that are derived from natural plant materials. Are any of the claims of high priced shampoos and conditioner companies make true?

What shampoo and conditioner is the best for hair details inside. Price is no issue?

im going to dye my hair black and put a purple streak in it. I dye it red-ish now. anyways my shampoo and conditioner (panteain pro-v) does not seem to work well. it makes my hair dryed out. I was wondering what ones are the best i would love to have healthy hair and is there any that make your hair grow a bit faster? the pro-v is suppost to help with that but does not :[

10 points best answer =DWhat shampoo and conditioner is the best for hair details inside. Price is no issue?
    I'm going to be honest with you... Like I tell many people here, when it comes to your hair: ';You get what you pay for';

I bleach and re-bleach my hair all the time and Paul Mitchell always saves my life (And my hair) after all these strong chemical processes.

Aside from that, Redken, Matrix, etc.

Even though shampoos/conditioners are all about experimenting and seing what goes well with your hair, I may tell you I love Paul Mitchell but you may hate it, just like some people say Suave is the best and I feel as if it makes my hair feel like hay...

Hope this helps! What shampoo and conditioner is the best for hair details inside. Price is no issue?
you need a more professional product such as redkin or matrix. all color manufacturers should have a product line for color treated hair. also, what do you do daily for styling? (blow dry, flat iron?) if you flat iron daily, then that is what is making your hair dry, not the conditioner. if your hair grows slowly naturally, then its not going to speed up!! there are products on the market that will promote healthy growth, not faster growth. Try matrix Color Smart shampoo n conditioner. you can also try a moisture retention shampoo to help with the dry hair. you also need to use a thermal sealant or serum to help protect your hair from thermal styling, including blow drying.
google: ';best shampoos and conditioners for [whatever hair type yours is] and see what comes up. you might want to look at what makes shampoos and conditioners so great, and what you want to look for in them.

(sorry, id google this stuff and post links, but my computer is being very weird and won't load google)
I got sick of cheap shampoos at Target and started buying Redkin at Beauty Brands. I just stock up every time they have their liter sale. It takes the oil out of my hiar and moisturizes it just enough for some natural shine. I love it and I don't think I'll ever use anything else. I just miss the Target prices! :D
I have greasy hair and I used to use horse shampoo. it makes your hair thicker, i dont know if it made it grow faster...maybe it did but i had to wash my hair like twice a day so it wouldnt look wet. it moisturizes nicely. you should try that.

First time at hair salon, is the shampoo/finish included in the price of the cut?

Here is what their website says about prices:

    Cuts

    International茅 Master Director $50.

    Master Styles Director 45.

    Master Designer 40.

    Senior Designer 35.

    Basics

    Consultation free

    Shampoo %26amp; Finish* only

    short 25.

    med 30.

    long 35.

    * Price may increase according to length of hair

My hair is long, about bra strap length, and I want to get it cut short (at least above my shoulders, but probably chin length or shorter). So does this chart mean I will have to pay extra for a shampoo or is it included in the price? And if I do, will I pay for long or short hair shampoo?

Also, I was curious if I should opt for the $50, would it make a difference in the quality of service?

I'm sorry I'm so hopelessly ignorant. Thanks!First time at hair salon, is the shampoo/finish included in the price of the cut?
You should call to confirm, but the 25/30/35 for short/med/long seems to apply if you get only a shampoo and finish. If you're having your long hair cut off, they may even brush it out, braid it dry, and snip the braid above your shoulders before shampooing it. Either way, you shouldn't have to pay for a long-hair shampoo.

The higher-priced stylist may be worth it since you're going in for a major change and aren't sure what you want. Cutting off your long hair is a big step and something you likely won't do again, and the stylist can help you find a short style that will suit you. You want to be confident in the advice you get, and they can help reassure you that a short or even very short cut is the right choice. When you go back for maintenance cuts in the future, you might use the cheaper stylist since they are just maintaining a style not creating it.

Good luck. Short hair will feel so light and freeing after having long hair.

First time at hair salon, is the shampoo/finish included in the price of the cut?
Well, Im not quite sure. Most places I go to do not include a shampoo in the price of the cut. You should call them and ask to make sure.

Also, if you are getting a cut only... you could go with any of the 4. But if you do more complicated looks... its best to pay for the best to get something you are satisfied with.

my hair is pretty wavy and i hate it ! i straighten it EVERY day and it suckz help please! What is a very affective straightening shampoo and conditioner?(low prices would help too!)?
Well, I used to have your problem.

Straightening Shampoo and Conditioner makes it easier to straighten hair, but you still need to use a straightener.

However, I've given up on straightening my own hair, which is pretty wavy, too. Just embrace it, wear it natural. If it's frizzy, you can by anti-frizz shampoo, which actually does work.

Herbal Essences and Garnier Fructis work wonders. (=What is a very affective straightening shampoo and conditioner?(low prices would help too!)?
Well i have this cheap ';Herb Blend'; Shampoo and conditioner but it doesn't really do anything.(i go it for a buck at pick n save) I never try it but Herbal Essences i heard works good.
Shampoo or Conditioner won't straighten it!

Get a relaxer or Japanese straighten.

  • Why is it that practically everything (from milk to shampoo to vegetables)and other stuff went up in price?

is it b/c they want to raise mininmum wage to make it look like the people are making more but in all actuality they arent? Why is it that practically everything (from milk to shampoo to vegetables)and other stuff went up in price?
Whenever the price of oil increases, everything else does. Shipping charges are blamed for increases in everything. Of course when the price of oil goes down, the shipping charges don't decrease, so prices on all commodities remain higher. Why is it that practically everything (from milk to shampoo to vegetables)and other stuff went up in price?
Thats what happens honey, prices very rarely go down, where have you been living, in a cave?
Well, as oil prices jump, so does the cost of transporting goods. This in turn causes the companies to charge more on the products so that they can make the same amount of profit. There are more reasons, but everything in the economy depends on everything else. Think about it. :)

Wat is the best hair growing shampoo? At a great price?

'Hair growing' shampoo's are scams. There is no possible way to make hair grow. Hair grows how it grows.Wat is the best hair growing shampoo? At a great price?
Hair isn't alive and it doesn't grow. Hair is an accumulation of a protein called keratin inside the follicle. As it builds up on the bottom it is pushed out the top, creating ';hair growth';. This is a biological process so nothing that you do to your hair, like trimming it or using some ';special'; shampoo can help. Eat a healthy, protein rich diet and take a regular multivitamin daily. Since hair is protein, eating foods rich in protein like peanut butter and fish can help to accelerate growth.

So no shampoo (including Mane n鈥?Tail!) can, in any way, accelerate hair growth. Hair growth is almost entirely genetic, and a little bit diet, so all that you can do it change your diet. Split ends cause breakage on the bottom of your hair, not at the base. Hair is an inanimate strand of protein, nothing that you do to the bottom if it can have any effect on the top of it.

Hair growth is entirely biological and has nothing to do with the hair that you already have, so having healthy hair DOES NOT mean that it will grow faster. If you want healthy hair, avoid heat at all costs and get a salon quality shampoo and conditioner, wash the conditioner out with cold water.Wat is the best hair growing shampoo? At a great price?
Honestly, I have tried so many because I have super fine/thin hair and none of them grew it back. I even tried some from Greece and not a thing. However, you can use thickening shampoos to give the appearance of having thicker hair. good luck!!!!
I think you mean what shampoo is great for preventing damage and letting your hair grow longer.

I would use Dove Intense Damage Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner.

It's great for split ends too.
';nioxen noticeably thinning hair'; cancer patients use it when they are trying to grow back their hair from chemo therapy

Could I buy retail a brand name product (may be shampoo), re-bottle, re-label and sell it for a higher price?

... without getting in trouble. Is it legal?Could I buy retail a brand name product (may be shampoo), re-bottle, re-label and sell it for a higher price?
No, and that's fraud. Think about the ethics behind it too. Would you want someone to do that to you.Could I buy retail a brand name product (may be shampoo), re-bottle, re-label and sell it for a higher price?
If you can do that - sell it for more - you should go ahead and do that - and afterward - contact the company whose shampoo you used, and tell them you have a way for them to make more money - Using your marketing ideas/skills %26amp; copyrighted labels. They will hire you to do that job for them and your future is assured. Your question however is moot - is it legal - no - Can you get in trouble, defiantly - but if you approach it as a marketing scheme, and keep notes - you can get away with it.

  • Price for shampoo?

I recently purchased shampoo that was $20 (for 16 oz. bottle) at a salon because my friends insisted it was better for my hair. After comparing it to my Alberto VO5 ($0.96) for the same amount purchased at Wal-Mart I see absolutely no difference in my hair only my pocketbook.

    Opinions please?Price for shampoo?
This has also happened to me. I seldom got compliments on my hair when I used the expensive shampoos, conditioners, and gel or mousse that I had purchased at the salons.

When I use something like Garnier or Herbal Essence, I get all kinds of compliments. Go figure! I'm not wasting my money on expensive hair products any more.Price for shampoo?
It is perfectly fine to use a ';cheaper'; shampoo if your hair is healthy. Alberto VO5 is a higher alkaline shampoo though, so a good conditioner would be recommended if your hair is dry or damaged. (The higher alkaline means that it strips out the natural oils in your hair.)

If your hair is dry and damaged, then yes, a better moisturizing shampoo and coditioner would be reccomended. But if it is not, then continue using what works best.
Check the ingredients on each label. In shampoos, you want the gentlest cleaning agents possible so they don't strip your hair of moisture. Cocomodipropyl betaine is the gentlest cleanser, whereas sodium lauryl/laurteh sulfate and ammonium lauryl/laureth sulfate are very harsh and bad for your hair. If your salon shampoo has any of the latter harsh ingredients, it's a waste of money. If not, it probably is better for your hair. But --how long have you been using the salon shampoo? if you use it longer, you might notice a difference in your hair. it might take a while for any change to be seen. Anyway, don't expect any miracles, it's just shampoo. Hope I helped.
Well that's called a rip off, and i say that you buy something like Redkin which is like $10 or if your loking for something cheeper than i suggest Herbal Essences becasue thats really great for my hair, i dont think that salon shampoo is really needed it's almost the same thing as any other one, but i also dont suggest Alberto VO5 because those are a little too cheap for pretty female hair and they are not the best choice for your hair in general, so i wuld go either Redkin or Herbal Essences. Also if you decide what shampoo to buy then i suggest for you to buy ones the options lke frizz control or strngthen your hair stuff like that, that fits your hair.
It depends what the shampoo is supposed to do. You might only e able to see a difference after a few washes or when you style it. There maybe no difference, it depends on the brand, etc
ive always used expensive shampoo. it doesnt show a difference immediately but it depends what the shampoo is for. dry hair... greasy hair... normal hair, etc. salon shampoos also help with damaged hair!
    You're probably right.

All shampoos are pretty much the same.

What does make a difference is the conditionner.

    I use a 2euros shampoo but an 18euros conditionner.

I guess you got your lesson!
stick with VO5 shampoo, but don't forget to use conditioner. Oh yea, VO5 conditioner also costs only a buck.
Most salon shampoos are not that different from drugstore shampoo. Only use more expensive shampoos if you colored your hair. And then go with Paul Michell or John Freida.
    ...Great?
salons rip u off stick to wat ur used to

Can anyone recommend a good reasonable priced shampoo?

    herbal essence's new line
Garnier they have heaps of different types for your type of hair
    Phyto, made with seaweed
Pantene. (that's 1 for preventing hair falling) I personally have used it for more than 1 decade so do all my fammily members.
My stylist told me my hair was beyond repairable but I refused to cut it, so she gave me a remedy: I use paul mitchell shampoo %26amp; conditioner. Then I use a leave in spray conditioner. Finally, before I use any heat appliances I use paul mitchell skinny serum on my dry hair. Now i've got beautiful healthy hair. Yay.
Try Garnier Fructis, both the shampoo and conditioner, I love them, they work great.I use them almost 2 years and I am very satisfied!
hi. i have the same problem. i live in hawaii and i swim alot. so my hair gets alot of damage. i get shampoo from sallys called ';bioterra';. though there is not a sallys here on oahu i have to order it online. www.sallysbeauty.com its is 6.99 for the shampoo and 8.99 for the conditioner. but remember, when applying conditioner, concentrate on the ends more and the roots less.
Looking for the right shampoo or conditioner is not decided by price. You don't just select the cheapest in the market and hope it works for your hair.

One must be careful in choosing shampoo's and conditioner. You must carefully read the label and see if the formulation will fit your need. Choose the one that is made exactly for oily hair which I suppose is what you need. With regards to having dry at the end hair, did you mean split-ends (maybe you brush too much).

It will be better to ask a hair specialist, maybe from a hair saloon so you'll get a more expert advice. Remember that the hair crowns your beauty. If you loose it, you can't grow 'em back!

Math question help? the price of a shampoo cut and style?

    is $22

you get a 20% tip from each customer and the owner pays you 1/4 of each jobs cost. on a typical day you give shampoos cuts and styles to 12 customers,

how much can you expect to earn for yourself on such a day?

    i'll pick a best answer

:DMath question help? the price of a shampoo cut and style?
With all due respect to the other answerer, you do not get $22 in addition to the other payments. You get fractions of that $22

    .2*22 = $4.4

    .25*22 = $5.5

    5.5 + 4.4 = 9.9

9.9(12) = $118.8Math question help? the price of a shampoo cut and style?
    22 divided by 20% = Z

    Z x 12 = Y

    22 divided by 25% = X

    X x12 = W

    Y + W
    price of cut + style = $22

    20% tip = 22*20% = $4.40

    pay = 1/4 * $22 = $5.50

    12 customers

    12*tip + 12*pay =

    12*4.40 + 12*5.50 = 52.8 + 66 = 118.8
    22(0.20) + 22(1/4) = 9.9

    9.9(12) = $118.80
Honestly- Idk Go to purplemath.com and search your question. I appoligise and I really hope I help.

Please answer mine at : http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
$396. that means they get 71,280 dollars for 180 days. is that a lot?
    $118.80

    $52.80 tips

    $66 from owner
most salons pay a hourly wage plus tips now. Only big big salon that charge $100.00 for a haircut still work on percentages. and most of them have gone to hourly because they can pay minimum wage with is about $6.85 nationally in USA
i think it might be like 118.80

    20% of 22 is 4.40

    1/4 of 22 is 5.50 add them..

    9.90 times 12

    118.80.
(12*22/4) = your cut from the cuts :-)

    (12*22/5) = your tips

    264/4 + 264/5 = 66 + 52.80 = $118.80

Good shampoo and condition at any price.?

I am female, I've colored my hair for almost a decade now. I also blow dry and flat iron it. It's alway been in pretty good condition until lately and i think its my shampoo and conditioner. My hair is now very dry and like straw. It also become really hard to style it now, and when I do it doesnt look nice at all, it looks overprocessed and stringy. Please help! I dont care about the price, I just want some brand or method that will help my hair look go again!! THANKS!Good shampoo and condition at any price.?

LoReALLGood shampoo and condition at any price.?
i color my hair and straighten it everyday....

use herbal essence color splash shampoo and conditioner...it smells amazing and keeps the hair healthy and shiny
I have to agree with the first poster. Redken products are the best!! I use All Soft shampoo %26amp; conditioner, Heavy Cream for deep treatment once a week, Velvet Whip heat protection before I blow dry, and Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide serum before and after flat ironing. One tip I would give is to give your hair a ';heat holiday.'; A day that you don't have to dry it and flat iron it, just let it air-dry.
    REDKEN!!

鈾? i have the redken color extend shmapoo and the all

soft conditioner really good! %26amp; i have the smooth down heat glide for my frizzy hair!

    :]
try John Frieda or Matrix or BedHead they all work great. I flat iron my hair as well, and have been for quite a while now, and I still have shiny soft hair.
I think the shampoo I use is very good. It is a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, Herbal Essences Hello Hydration. Since you flat iron and blow dry your hair every day it really would damage your hair. The hydrating shampoo should help, but you should also try leaving your hair wet and dry naturaly.
Costco carries their own Kirkland brand and it's terrific! I was actually told to use it by my stylist because it doesn't have all the waxes and glosses that other brands do, so it doesn't leave any buildup. It still has tons of moisturizers in it so it makes your hair really soft. It smells good and is really inexpensive, so you can even splurge on a deep-conditioning at your next appointment with your stylist. I would cut down on the heat styling-if you're not going anywhere or if you can be really casual, let your hair air dry and don't heat style. Cute sexy messy ponyatils are really in now, as are natural curls and waves.
I am using Redken right now as well. I think the general rule is no drug store brands. I have seen a lot of people on here raving about pantene and herbal essence but do not buy them! They will not work.. you get what you pay for so spend the extra money if you want awesome hair!
I'm a guy, but my best friend's cousin is obsessed with coloring my hair...i've probably had the entire rainbow on my head so far haha, but one brand that's always worked for me to keep my hair soft is pantene pro-v, i usually get the green bottle ';silk and shine'; or something like that but there is a newer bottle called pantene pro-v ice or something along those lines, and they both work great! good luck =)
you defintely need Pantene products its has types for all hair types and they have products that you can use even with hair coloring.

just make sure that you use them correctly so you will not mess up again!!!

What's a decent priced shampoo/conditioner that won't wash the red out of my colored hair?!?

I use Dove for coloured hair, leaves it shiny and glossy. Smells great too! What's a decent priced shampoo/conditioner that won't wash the red out of my colored hair?!?
I use Color Me Sexy Hair, they make a couple different shades of reds. It is almost like dying your hair all over again when you shampoo. It is alittle more expesive $12-$13 but it works good to keep and add new red tones in your hair. What's a decent priced shampoo/conditioner that won't wash the red out of my colored hair?!?
I think Loreal Elvive Colour Protect is the best the conditioner is so thick and really makes you hair soft its about 拢2.50 a bottle
my hair is red (color treated) and i use Pantene Color Revival Shampoo, it works great.

If the price of shampoo increased by 44% next year, there would be a ___________ in the ________________ .?

If the price of shampoo increased by 44% next year, there would be a ___________ in the ________________ .

    Decrease; quantity of conditioner demanded.

    Decrease; demand for conditioner.

    Decrease; demand for shampoo.

    Increase; price of conditioner.

Increase; demand for conditioner. If the price of shampoo increased by 44% next year, there would be a ___________ in the ________________ .?
decrease in the demand for shampoo

You can only guess at what might happen to the demand for conditioner as a result, but at the very basic level only the shampoo is affected. If the price of shampoo increased by 44% next year, there would be a ___________ in the ________________ .?
    This is a trick question.

The statement say ';price of shampoo increased by 44% next year.'; That means that there would be an INCREASE in the DEMAND for SHAMPOO ';this'; year because people want to get cheap shampoo now. Since that's not an answer you have to look at the other choices.

Logically, four answers deal with conditioner so conditioner has to be an answer. You have to think is shampoo and conditioner a substitute or a complement. My guess it is a complement.

So if it a complement then as the price of shampoo goes up so will conditioner. So people in the now would want to get cheap conditioner. So there would be an INCREASE in the demand for conditioner.
....there would be a very long line in the Dollar Store!
people will get shorter hair. cheaper alternatives will come to market. a bottle of shampoo cost around 4-5 bucks a bottle. so its would be like 6-7 bucks a bottle. china would jump on in and sell at 4 bucks. economics has no alternatives, that is why i believe its a total waste of time and money to take such course because they confine everything to those laws of economic, and well i guess if they broke the law the whole idea of economics will go out the window.
    Bad smell in the wind.

Pantene is my favorite. My friend bought some for extra volume and I was at her house a few times and used it thinking, ';whatever my hair is big already, it won't make a difference'; but it did! So then I tried the ';Ice Shine'; and loved that....the conditioner is so thick and creamy. Also the beautiful lengths kind for me....I have long and kind of oily hair, but I assume their products for normal hair would be just as great.
hiya. I think pantene pro-v repair and protect is the best shampoo and conditioner. I use the treatments as well so after i put on the conditioner i have 2 other treatments i use. They are great for smooth hair which is protected from any straighteners/curlers or anything you may use!
    my favorite?

loreal paris vive pro it personalizes for your hair theres like 1,000 kinds okay 33 and they help a ton!

hebal essences makes your hair look ahmazing now but it makes your hair fall out faster and dry. I use fekkai. Its great i love the volumizing one(yellow) but thats my opinion. At bath and body works they sell these little boxes of a shampoo con. and a mouse kinda thing. It makes my hair look great!
Every ones hair is different, so what works for someones hair might not work and be good for you. I personally use herbal essences and its great for my hair, it makes my hair feel soft and shiny.
My personal fav is garnier fructis sleek and shine. It smells great and worked with my hair nicely. But not matter what you get, pick two different shampoos and alternate every month. It's better for your hair.
Bumble and Bumble.. Simply the best stuff I have used, you have to go to a salon to get it. Some salons do not carry it, you might have to got to a high end salon.
I like Tresemme, it gives my fine hair a nice shine. Pantene tended to leave it a bit limp but it definitely looks better since i started using Tresemme but i guess all hair's different.

Is Bedhead shampoo/conditioner worth the shiny price tag?

Its looks like a nice product, but I want to be sure...Is Bedhead shampoo/conditioner worth the shiny price tag?
What is it? There is a shampoo and conditioner that is right for everyone, and BedHead makes a lot of different products. I personally use Catwalk shampoo (made by TIGI who also makes BedHead) and BedHead Dumb Blonde Reconstructor. Actually all BedHead products are amazing, I trust them more than I trust any other brand. Drugstore shampoos and conditioners are cheap for a reason. They are full of harsh chemicals that strip color and natural oils from your hair and cause damage. They are also full of wax the coats the outside of the hair shaft. BedHead uses quality products that are good for you hair, and the conditioner actually repairs and protects hair, unlike drugstore junk. So yes, it is worth it, as long as you are picking the right shampoo and conditioner for your needs! Is Bedhead shampoo/conditioner worth the shiny price tag?
I don't think so, I think there are others out there that do great for your hair without the heavy price tag. I highly recommend using Dove's Go Fresh shampoo and conditioner. It works great. it helps treat and prevent breakage and moisturizes your hair without weighing it down. It's also friendly to the wallet. So nix the expense and use Dove to get healthy hair. Go to their website for coupons.
your really only going to kno if you try it. ive bought expensive hair stuff that i totally hate for my hair. i give it to a friend and there hair comes out great. drives me nuts! peoples hair works with different stuff. so id say give it a go or else youll never kno. i personally have not been a fan of bed head shampoo and conditioners they dont really seem to improve my hair in anyway.
    i wouldnt.

you can find just about the same thing for less than half the cost.

What's the best, reasonable priced shampoo / conditioner to get my dry hair feeling way healthier?

I have naturally dry hair, and need it to be softer. it's a short to mid length about down to my eye brows, any ideas less than 20 bucks? What's the best, reasonable priced shampoo / conditioner to get my dry hair feeling way healthier?
    Try your local drugstore =]

Try to look for a shampoo that doesn't have sulfates, a harsh ingredient that strips moisture from your hair, and get any conditioner that's rich and says ';moisturizing'; because it will help provide moisture to dry hair.

But, satisfaction cannot be guaranteed with cheap hair products. Personally, I've found that super low-cost products tend to dry out my hair even more and does not make it feel as healthy and nice as higher-end products. So, I would recommend higher-end brands.

Even if you're not willing to spend that much, drugstores now sell brand products like Nexxus, Redkin, Matrix, and TiGi. They're under $20 bucks and are better quality than brands like Pantene or Herbal Essences. What's the best, reasonable priced shampoo / conditioner to get my dry hair feeling way healthier?
I would say not to use chemicals on your hair. Why don't you go for some home remedies. Egg whites, lemon juice, oil massages, reducing stress and diet changes can reduce hair fall and make it healthier. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for hair loss as well as for healthy hair at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/hairfall.htm鈥?/a>

I buy special shampoo- but it runs me about $11.00 a bottle- it supposedly has ';coat protectors'; and is for sensitive skin

What Shampoo/Conditioner is best for your hair, but also at an affordable price?

Tresemme is awsome 'cause it's forign

Sunsilk has the most different kinds

Hair %26amp; Shoulders is great on oily hair and dandruff

    Suave is the most expensive

Garnier makes most hair too dry or oily

In my opinion: Sunsilk is the best and most affordable! What Shampoo/Conditioner is best for your hair, but also at an affordable price?
Dove, herbal essence, fructis I've also heard that Pantene was really bad for your hair. What Shampoo/Conditioner is best for your hair, but also at an affordable price?
    the sunsilk hairapy works miracles.

depending on your hair type/needs, there are a bunch of different shampoo/conditioner sets that are ALL very affordable. less than $10 for both.
    I like Paul Mitchell
head and shoulders smells great and works great
Joico works awesome on thick hair
    I like Redken
well that kind of depends on your hair type and texture...but pantene pro-v is pretty good...
i like herbal essance bc they hav differeent types for every kind of hair the twist and curls works great and so does the frizz control kind. it's around 4-5$ a boddle. GooD LucK!!!!!!!!!!
Depends on what kind of hair you have. A lot of people like Pantene, but I think it makes my hair heavy and have build up. I like Finesse conditioner, but I use cheap Suave and White Rain for shampoo. They work fine and are gentle.
I really like Pantene Pro-V, I use the 2-in-1 (shampoo/conditioner) smooth %26amp; silky kind and it work's great
At an affordable price Pantene, and acualy sunsilk.

If your willing to spend the xtra dolars the apsolute best and my favs are.... Joico, Halo I swear by them both. Your hair is an investment take care of it! best of luck!
    dove makes your hair softer.

    garnier makes your hair shinier.
I think Dove is the best, also sunsilk. It really depends on your hair type though-- oily, normal, dry.
Shikai. You've probably never heard of it, but it works AMAZING. It brings out your natural highlighs. I LUVV it!!! People always ask me if I get highlights, but I never do! I just use Shikai!

    http://www.shikai.com/ that's the website :-]

I use this: it works MiRICLES! http://www.shikai.com/products/highlight鈥?/a>
I really like using Redken. Even though it is more expensive to buy it works out pretty similar to reasonably priced shampoos/conditioners because you only have to use a small amount.

Pantene works well for 1 or 2 washes but after a couple of weeks it makes my hair really dull and flat so I never buy it anymore. PLus my hairdresser told me off when she found out I bought Pantene (she thinks it's bad for your hair).

Sunsilk or Flex are ok too- I'd buy these if I couldn't afford Redken.
i use garnier fructise for color treated hair.

i dyed my hair and it really does help keep my color intact.

when my hair wasn't dyed, i used herbal essences for moisturizing. it worked very well! :)

Pantene Pro-V Extra Straight Shampoo price india?

want to know the price Pantene Pro-V Extra Straight ShampooPantene Pro-V Extra Straight Shampoo price india?
Pantene is a terrible shampoo, please don't use it! It is wax-based, so it coats the hair with wax and makes it feel smooth at first, but over time, the wax eats away at the surface of your hair and will damage it badly!

I would recommend Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Daily Shampoo and Conditioner.

I use Vive Pro by L'Oreal. It's the Color Vive, and it comes in a bright reddish-pink bottle. I dyed my hair blue with semi-permanent hair dye a few weeks ago, and it's only supposed to last 4 weeks, but it's still as bright as it was when I first dyed it. :3

Definetly go for Mane 'N Tail. It was originally formulated for horses, but now they market it for humans as well (Has directions for both on the bottle). You can get it at Sally's Beauty Supply, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, etc.

It's great for getting long, shiny hair. Also, deep condition once or twice a week, and use a leave in conditioner. If you want REALLY hydrated hair, try not to blow dry too much, and try not to straighten much either.

good luck! What is the best shampoo and conditioner? No Price Max?
My absolute favorite that you can just buy at WalMart is Aussie Moist!!! It's amazing and smells really good. I also like Finesse. I've tried all the ones mentioned above me, but those 2 are my favorites. If you want salon type shampoo, I love Paul Mitchell, Nutrisse, and Bed Head! Oh and no matter what you get, get Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle deep conditioner and use it a couple times a week at least. It won't hurt to use it everyday either. In my opinion, it's the best deep conditioner on the market.
    tressamay
    Use Garnier!!!

I've bought that stuff once. I did not like it for my hair because it dryed it out bad. I don't even have dry hair but that stuff made mine that way. Everyone is different. It could react differently to your hair.Has anyone used Bath and Body works shampoo/conditioner? Is it worth the higher price?
there r a very few cosmetic factories in US most are same products just marketing and probably fragrance however anything you like is worth the price if YOU like it dear
You're paying for the scent and the name.

It's not worth it unless you really really like the smell.
My best friend uses it, it's pretty dang amazing.

Yes, I say it is worth it.

Whats the best shampoo for a cheapish price for volume at walmart ?

Herbal Essences Body Envy or Sunsilk. I forgot the name of it though.Whats the best shampoo for a cheapish price for volume at walmart ?
VO5 and SuaveWhats the best shampoo for a cheapish price for volume at walmart ?
I use Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo. It has deep cleansers that get out oil. It's crystal clear (no added junk) and has a pleasant smell.

My hair tends to be oily so I use the normal to oily hair type.

Beauty salons say they use clarifying shampoos to remove just about everything from hair, including medicine. I take Motrin often so it removes that.

We are what we eat, and use, I suppose. It all shows up in our organs, tissues and follicles.
Usually SUAVE and it makes a really good body-wash too! My currant favorite is their ';green tea'; shampoo. why pay high price costs for more expensive body-wash when the shampoo does the same trick and the scent matches?!? I ahve raised my children on this stuff and trust me they now do the same thing!
herbal essences body envy volumizing shampoo.

it really helps you get a ton of body because it has a weightless formula fused with white nectariene and pink coral flower(which makes it smell really good.)

the shampoo is not only designed to give you body but also to give your hair an exhilarating clean for an extra lift. when you finnish washing you get a lush, full, and voulmenized hairstlye that will move naturally.

its really easy to use and is low maience but will still make your hair look amazing. and its like $3.50 and is avaliable at target

not sure if they sell it at walmart, but the v05 shampoo is really cheap. but it works very efficiently. works just as well as the salon shampoos and conditioners

What is the best shampoo/conditioner on the UK highstreet for Fine, Blonde Highlighted hair, at a cheap price?

Hi, I have very fine hair, which is highlighted blonde. What is the best shampoo/conditioner on the UK high street which will thicken up my hair as well as maintain colour. Any recommended online stores would be good too. And as cheep as possible as I am also a poor student!

Thanks! xxWhat is the best shampoo/conditioner on the UK highstreet for Fine, Blonde Highlighted hair, at a cheap price?

I use supersoft coconut and shampoo which is quite cheap and it makes your hair look fab and shiny. What is the best shampoo/conditioner on the UK highstreet for Fine, Blonde Highlighted hair, at a cheap price?
Goldwell is a good brand that comes from the UK and they have great shampoos and conditioners hor highlighte hair. it smell great also
for volume try james brown (but think it is about 拢6) and for blonde on a budget i'd go for pantene blonde if not john freda blonde x x x
I use Avon for my dyed hair. they do an excellent range of products for treated hair. Their prices are excellent as well.
Dove.... for blonde or highlighted hair....
I use head %26amp; shoulders it's pretty good . i dont have highlighted hair but keeps it thick =] experiment until you find a good one

  • What are the 4p's (product, promotion, place and price) of clear shampoo based on their ads?

help!!!! i cant figure out the difference between clear and other anti-dandruff shampoos... what makes clear a better anti-dandruff shampoo among the other anti-dandruff shampoos (like heads and shoulders)??What are the 4p's (product, promotion, place and price) of clear shampoo based on their ads?
Clear anti dandruff shampoo is really good shampoo with menthol. It relieves itchy and dry scalp totally. Eliminates light dandruff as mentioned. I found that after using this shampoo, I do not have any itching even if I do not wash my head for 2-3 days. Previously, I had mild itching if I do not wash my hair for even 1 day. This shampoo has small amount of menthol and refreshes the head every time after every wash. I think it is a herbal based shampoo although it is not mentioned. It does not make the hair extremely dry. Hair will be managebale after wash.

Clear anti dandruff shampoo is really cheaper compared to many brands. Comes with a buy one get one free offer. I think this brand is new in the market. It is manufactured by Unilever Thai holdings ltd. This brand has special anti dandruff shampoo for men with menthol. This brand is slightly costlier than ordinary one.

Good shampoo which shows similar or better results compared to other anti dandruff shampoos. Anyone looking for a antidandruff shampoo with good results? I would say try using it and see if it works. This brand impressed me as I was looking for a brand that would prevent excessive drying of hair and scalp along with controlling the dandruff and itch.

Flax or hempseed oil--take it, it will help. Also, nuterogena fructis does nto dry out or leave residue as much as panteen does. PROVEN FACT. i use it. Also HONESTLY go to a beauty place and buy cholestorol for your hair...it will work wonders for dried out hair. or mayo.

i use suave shampoo its really afordable too. i get it at walgreens.
Suave Humectant. It's exactly the same ingredients as Nexxus Humectress, but it's less than $3.00.
I LOVE Aussie Mega Shampoo, Conditioner and 3 minute miracle. I have highlighted hair, that I blow dry everyday (major No No's for soft hair) and my hair is now really soft!
Whatever you do, DON'T use Pantene! People THINK it works well, but that is because Pantene is FILLED with wax and oil that coat your hair to make it soft, but really it is making build up which will cause problems down the road if you want to color, perm, relax, etc in the future. My suggestion would be to go to a salon and use the actual salon brand shampoo/conditioner, such as REGIS brand. They are still professional products, but are much cheaper than other salon products.
I have dry hair , such as yourself , and I use Herbal Essence's Hello Hydration shampoo %26amp; conditioner.

    It's about $ 3.00 each at Wal-Mart.
    Pantene works pretty darn well.

Sunsilk in the pink bottles - for dry hair. It works for me.
you can try this just use some things you have at home 1 1/2 teaspoons Corn Oil Add the corn oil to your regular conditioner, rinse out as you normally would.

To avoid having dry brittle hair, avoid using a hot curling irons or blow dryers bleaching and perming, and hair dyes. Sometimes lacking nutrients can also cause dry brittle hair. Take a multivitamin and mineral supplement on a daily basis.

What kind of shampoo/conditioner is good for your hair but comes at an affordable price?

My hair is dry and falls out from cheaper shampoos but I don't like to pay salon prices. Any ideas? What kind of shampoo/conditioner is good for your hair but comes at an affordable price?
Your hair may be falling out for another reason. See a dermatologist for a professional diagnosis. If you are lucky you may simply be shampooing your hair too often.

As for a choice, aside from shampoos for specific skin conditions and parasitic infestations they are all remarkably similar and quite often the pricier brands are manufactured in the same factories as the cheaper brands. The difference between a $1 bottle of white rain and a $20 dollar bottle of salon shampoo is little more than packaging, dye and fragrance.

The more oil put in a shampoo the less it dries out your hair. If you have dry hair use the shampoo for that type. Other than that pick a shampoo with a scent you like for as cheap a price as you feel comfortable. What kind of shampoo/conditioner is good for your hair but comes at an affordable price?
If you go to a Walmart, they have good shampoos for cheap. I wouldn't suggest Garnier or Fructis. They make your hair feel and look greasy. Herbal Essences in the pink bottle is the best. It is strawberry scented and works the best to smooth and hydrate.

    Hope I helped!
tresemme shampoo is the BEST cheap salon shampoo. bout 5 or 6 bucks a bottle i think. maybe 4. i think its 4 at walgreens.

How do i find a good shampoo that treats split ends at an affordable price?

what brand or store should i go to?How do i find a good shampoo that treats split ends at an affordable price?
The only treatment for split ends is a trim or a haircut... No shampoo or product will mend split ends... I know this Im a licensed stylist! Get a haircut/trim everymonth... Hair on average grows 1/2 per month! Use a thermal protectant before blowdrying or styling hair with heat to avoid breakage! I dont recommend any store bought shampoo because Im licensed so Im all for professional products! Alot of store bought products are drying to the hair due to their alkalinity or very waxed based and can cause buildup! If you need recommendations for professional products let me know otherwise best of luck to you!How do i find a good shampoo that treats split ends at an affordable price?
There is no such thing as a shampoo that helps treat split ends. You either have to clip off the split ends or moisturize your ends more. Alot of products claim to help treat split ends but there all wrong. Moisture is all your hair needs. Deep conditioners every week are great aids for preventing split ends.
I think herbal essence is really good for your hair whatever hair type you may have, and smells really great and very affordable.

You can get it at the supermarket or drug store.
The pink sunsilk bottle it treats split ends and dry hair get a free sample at gethairapy.com.
Try using head and sholders refresh

    walmart
    Suave?
split ends cant really be glued back together. how can a shampoo fix split ends? they promise to, or to prevent them, however, if you blowdry and straiten your hair, it will split at the ends. best thing to do is just use professional shampoo and conditioner, more expensive but will keep your hair stronger or more moisturized and get it trimmed often to get rid of the splits you already have.
Actual once you get split ends it's impossible to treat them the only thing to do is to get your hair trimmed.
panteene or w/e works really well also i read that it helps to only wash the top part of your hair every other time you wash it and then condition it all it helps keep your hair shiny too!
You should use SUNSILK Hydra TLC because it is cheap and it works! Their is shampoo and conditioner each for about 4 dollars. You can find it at most Walgreens and probably any other drugstore. On top of washing your hair with it when you get out of the shower while your hair is still damp, take a dollop or two of the conditioner and run it through your hair. Hope this works for you!
split ends cannot be ';treated'; by anything other than cutting them off: FACT.

split ends CAN be prevented by using specialist shampoos, but more importantly conditioners. Just looking in your local supermarket - the bottles will all say ';specially for damaged hair'; etc. on them. The more expensive well known brands are usually better.
Sun Silk target or walmart its usually $ 3.00
Your local Walmart and/or Kmart has Garnier Fructis Length and Strength...It's got a blue strip on it. They've got shampoos, conditioners, leave in treatments...It's fantastic. And they are very inexpensive.

Hope this helps and good luck!

What shampoo, price does not matter, is best for greasy hair?

its driving me mad, ive tried so many but im wandering if there is one that really stands out to any oneWhat shampoo, price does not matter, is best for greasy hair?
Tresemme daily clairifying. For best results get the 4+4 with the blue label that can be purchased at Sallys. It's only about $6. Otherwise you can get the black bottle kind at Walmart.

If you must condition, use it ONLY on the hair from the back of the head to the tips. What I used to do is make my hair for a pony tail and use only that hair to condition. I'd wrap it up and clip it until ready to rinse. With oily hair, the roost get REALLY greasy. I have permed hair which made it drier too.

Brushing it took much is also bad because it distributes that oil out, and makes it look greasier.Try to massage your scalp when you wash itWhat shampoo, price does not matter, is best for greasy hair?
herbal essences(the green one, don't remember name)

btw, whichever you finally choose, do never buy any elvive shampoos(esp. the pink one) they'll make your hair 10times more greasy!!
    have you tried tresemme ?

    i love it .

i have thick hair and it works good on me ..

you also have to use conditioner .
I had a greasy hair problem for a while. The trick is to use conditioner. Just buy something midrange like pantene, and get the matching conditioner.
You could get a clarifying shampoo and use it once a week. Neutrogena makes a really good one.
    Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo.

Is Pureology shampoo and conditioner worth the price?

I want to try pureology shampoo and conitioner from my local CVS. My hair is dry and damaged from the flat iron. I tried everything and nothing has left my hair really silky and smooth. I hear pureology is good, and would help repair my hair. But the bottles are small and 30 dollars a bottle. Is it worth it?Is Pureology shampoo and conditioner worth the price?
No. Just another in a long line of schemes to separate the gullible from their money.

What is the best Shampoo for a good price?

I am looking for a volumizing shampoo that will help my hair have volume and not be so flat and life less so shortly after I wash and dry it. I have tried everything and it looks lifeless to fast. HELP!What is the best Shampoo for a good price?
I recommend you try stores own brands, the absolute best shampoo and conditioners I have ever used are the Morrison's Betterbuy Healthy Hair shampoo and conditioner, which only cost 59p per bottle. You don't need the more expensive brands, end of the day they are nothing more than perfumed detergent to clean dirt out of hair so more expensive brands can't offer you anything a cheaper brand can't. I do also recommend Linco beer shampoo and conditioner as it's really nice to use, it makes your hair really shiny and oh my god it smells lovely. For volume you may also want to try the Aussie real volume shampoo, this smells AMAZING, nice to use, and your hair gets really good volume, it is a little pricey but well worth it as it really does work well.

Try using 'no-poo' as this makes your hair much healthier, easier to manage, shiny, stronger, grows faster and your hair will never be greasy again. Shampoo strips your hair of natural oils so damages hair, thus why conditioners were invented to cover up that damage, your hair is also weighed down by these products and your scalp overcompensates by producing more oil making your hair greasy. Instead use one tablespoon baking soda to one cup of warm water, apply to your roots working it in and let it sit for a minute, this stimulates blood flow, cleans pores and gets off built-up grime, then rinse with one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to one cup water, let it sit for a minute and rinse out. Seriously, don't be scared to try it, you're guaranteed shinier and stronger hair. If you have curly hair use just conditioner, this lessens frizz for defined healthy curls. http://www.noshampoo.orgWhat is the best Shampoo for a good price?

Wow, that is a really hard question. You can spend anywhere from .99 all the up over $20 for a bottle. Maybe you should narrow down what stats you are looking for. I usually pay about $5.95 for my Aussi Land Shampoo.

Wow Smiley, What brand? Post a pic so we can see if it's really worth it.
$0.99 for cheap stuff like VO5 or Suave. about $3 for Garnier and $4-5 for Pantene ProV.

You should just go to a supermarket or pharmacy and check for prices in your area so you can know cost per ounce because it varies from brand to brand.

What is the best average price Shampoo?

I have somewhat thick/thin hair, but when I blowdry it then straighten it, it gets so thin and SO STRINGY! It looks horrible. I have used all kinds of shampoo. Right now, I am currently using Marc Anthony shampoo but no luck. No matter what shampoo I use, I always seem to get greasy patches in random spots of my head, it looks like I didn't wash my hair for days. But I do, everyday. Please help! EXPERTS ADVICE.What is the best average price Shampoo?
Pert Plus shampoo and conditioner in one works great !!What is the best average price Shampoo?
Okay well the best shampoo for volume is Pantene Pro-V volume.

As to the greasy patches that might not be because of the shampoo. When you wash your hair you have to start with the shampoo from the bottom tips and work your way up because if you have too much shampoo resting at the top of your head it can create the greasy patches you mentioned.

    Hope this helps.
I really like nexus products they cost more but I find that i can go longer without washing because my hair doesnt ';feel dirty'; as fast. Currently Im using their Botanoil sampoo and the Ensure conditioner. To me the ensure conditioner is great. Anytime I try to use something else my hair will feel dirty the next day. well Im older 48 so my hair is diferent than a teens but seriously try the nexus.

BTW my hair is thin and stick straight just to let you know my hair type.
There are cheap shampoos like suave which work fine and smell nice. Id say about $3.

You have to stop blowdrying and strightening it so much thats why its so stringy. Its okay to straighten once a week or when you really need it otherwise i suggest you get those dead ends cut off and stick to a good shampoo and conditioner. Like Pantene Restoritives. You need to take better care of your hair! Theres also hair products which are made to work with heat. In your case,id go with the better products. Good luck.
Well, I relate to you, except when i straighten my hair is doesn't get stringy. I use Sunsilk, Herbal Essences, Pantene, Tresemme', and Garnier Fructis.

All range from about $7-$14. Thats really not alot compared to some other brands. Plus They work great and have many different collections for all hair types. I believe they all have a collection to thicken hair.

Maybe your hair gets stringy when you straighten it cause you need to put a serum in your hair when it is wet. TRY: Sunsilk Straight to Perfection Straighten Up Heat Defense Creme.

    Where to Buy:

All can be found at Target
To be honest the best kind of shampoo/conditioner to buy is shops own brand! It doesn't contain any bad chemicals and it's all natural. For greasy hair use a shampoo with lemon or jojoba extracts in it as that really helps :) But if you want a named brand then sunsilk 'fresh for longer' works really well, it is great value and keeps your hair looking great for longer
I would use ';Big Sexy Hair'; products for volume. It's a great line and every product does exactly what it says. pH is the key to shampoos and conditioners results. A low pH smooths the hair, a higher pH puffs up the hairshaft. What I like about Big Sexy Hair is that it puffs up the hair without leaving the cuticle roughed up, so you end up with volume but the hair is still smooth.
Well, there is no particular shampoo that I am going to reccomend. But I am going to give you a few tips. First of all, dont use too much shampoo, thats been known to make hair greasy. A quarter size amount is reasonable. Second, conditioner is only needed for the ends of your hair. Putting it on your roots is unnecessary and can also make your hair greasy.

    Your welcome ;)
i AM NOT AN EXPERT BUT i THINK IF YOU START WITH VERY CLEAN HAIR (IE CLARIFYING SHAMPOO) AND ADD THE RIGHT PRODUCTS YOU MAY HAVE BETTER LUCK. I HAVE VERY THIN STRINGY HAIR MYSELF AND I USE A HEAT-ACTIVATED DE-TANGLING SHINE SPRAY (LIKE SUNSILK FROM WALMART, VERY CHEAP) AND ALSO A ROOT LIFTER (LIKE PANTENE). IN SHORT I FEEL THAT THE PRODUCTS YOU USE ';AFTER'; YOU SHAMPOO/COND ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE ACTUAL SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER. THAT BEING SAID, I LIKE PANTENE AND AUSSIE FOR MY THIN SCRAGGLY HAIR. HOPE THAT HELPS!
honestly, try suave. Its all I've used all my life, and my hair is really healthy. After i use it my hair is soft, shiny, and smells nice. Its 1.00 a bottle at any store, but it works great.

Don't spend 30.00 on 1 bottle of shampoo, and find out it doesn't work.
you could be using to much conditioner that is what happened to me, but try tresseme its salon quality products but its cheap it can be bought at drug stores , wal-marts and stores like that.

hope you can fix it good luck :)
get sauve! i used to be mad at my mom for only getting my $1 shampoo because i thought it wouldnt work as good but seriously, i have had sooooo many complements on my hair and how soft it is it is unreal!! and its only $1!!!!
Garnier Fructis Fortifying shampoo hands down!
    i use aussie

    the purple bottle

it smells good and it helps your hair

it protexcts your hair and softens it

    really works!

only about 3 dollars for shampoo and 3 dollar for conditioner

    its worth buying
you can give volume max, or that other thing but i forgot the name. its costs around 13-20 bucks i guess.
Garnier Fructis is great. My mom and sister say that Pantene makes their hair fall out, so I don't recommend it.
